Day-by-Day Details
DAY 1: Flight
Overnight flight to Paris.
DAY 2: PARIS
Arrive in Paris, meet your travel director and transfer to your centrally located hotel.
Enjoy an orientation walk. Dinner.
DAY 3: PARIS
Guided sightseeing tour with local guide covering the culture and commerce of France and its capital city, Paris. Highlights of the city such as the business district of the La Defense business district, Champs Elysées, Place de la Concorde and Notre Dame Cathedral.
Continue with a visit to the Louvre.
Dinner.
In the evening take a stroll along the Rue de la Huchette in the Latin Quarter.
DAY 4: PARIS
Business Visit: This morning you will visit the offices of a local company where you will gain insight into the business strategy and marketing plan of the company.
Later, enjoy a boat ride along the River Seine and a visit to the top of the Eiffel Tower.
DAY 5: PARIS
Morning visit to a food market in Paris. Continue with a Business Visit to the Fragonard Perfumery.
Late afternoon cooking lesson with a Q&A session where students will learn more about the restaurant industry in Paris. Session concludes with dinner.
DAY 6: BARCELONA
Take the train to Barcelona.
Upon arrival, visit the Ramblas, the bustling heart of the city.
Dinner.
DAY 7: BARCELONA
Enjoy a guided visit of the city including highlights such as the Gothic Quarter. The Gothic Quarter is the heart of the old city. You will admire the medieval architecture as well as some remains from the Roman times.
Visit the beautiful Guëll Park designed by Gaudí.
Dinner.
DAY 8: BARCELONA
A morning excursion takes you to the serene monastery of Montserrat. Situated within a serrated mountain the monastery houses a school for boys the comprise a very famous choir. The monastery also houses “La Morenita” or the Black Madonna, the symbol of Catalunya.
Business Visit: This afternoon visit a local TV station. Possibilities include: 8TV, BTV Barcelona, Televisió de Catalunya and RTVE.
Dinner.
DAY 9: BARCELONA
This morning attend a lecture and discussion with a local university professor about doing business in Europe. Learn about important cultural differences, global trends and the implications of technology on cultural and ethical standards.
In the afternoon you'll have a behind the scenes tour of Camp Nou- Home to FC Barcelona. Meet with one of the club’s marketing team to learn more about the exciting field of Sports Management and Marketing.
Farewell Dinner.
DAY 10: Return Home
Transfer to airport for return flight to the United States.
